Hello! I'm Ms. Bee, the owner and founder of Ms. Bee's Homeschool!
In California, I worked as a behavior therapist, advocate, and academic tutor for children with autism and other disabilities. With 19 years of experience, I specialize in building strong relationships to help children reduce anxiety, build confidence, and form lasting connections. I also focus on academic modifications, creating personalized programs that highlight a child’s strengths while addressing areas of growth.
Since relocating in 2021, God has guided me to teach classes that embrace and support every child. He has led me to His word, reminding me that no matter a child’s challenges, His love and strength will equip them to fulfill His will and purposes for their lives. Love never fails!
I have experience teaching Bible studies, MPact Girls, and Sunday school, and I homeschool my four children, ages 4, 9, 13, and 15. This is our 11th year of homeschooling. My heart has grown for missionaries, and I believe that God has a special plan for each of us to be used for His glory. As a family, we’ve been studying God’s word and learning about missionaries as part of our homeschool journey.
During the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years, I taught at Independent Learning Academy, and for the 2023-2024 school year, I’m teaching at Ethos Academy.
I’m also actively involved at Calvary Chapel Treasure Valley, where I serve as a leader for the youth ministry (junior high and high school), as well as in Children’s Ministry and the Special Needs Ministry.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, gardening, and spending time outdoors!
I look forward to meeting all the students that God brings to my classes and getting to know each of you.

Hi! I’m Kristin Bagshaw and a new teacher at Ms. Bee’s Homeschool. I hold an MA in Education from Hope University and an MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health and Fitness from California State University, Fullerton. I have been teaching Health/Lifetime Wellness at the collegiate level since Fall 2022. My passion includes physical activity plans and assisting others with nutritional and dietary needs. For me personally, I have a family history of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, and hypertension (plus losing my mom over 20 years ago from all these comorbidities). Since then, God put on my heart and provided the tools to start combatting all thosefactors and focusing on prevention, in addition to spreading awareness of the importance of good health. I believe in a God-centered focus to teach health to bring about a meaningful impact in students' lives, along with using education and practical applications of small lifestyle choices to positively impact our overall well-being. God has also called my husband and I to homeschool our daughter, which we began in 2021. During that time, we have all grown closer to the Lord and now serve on the Homeschool Ministry team at Calvary Chapel, Star. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, gardening, camping, spending time outdoors in nature and being active with family and friends.

Hello! I'm Ms. Elizabeth. Over the past 20 years my career has been within staffing and recruiting, and most recently as a career strategy coach. I love to encourage others to lean into their God given gifts, passions and find their path in life. In 2020, I became a homeschool parent and teacher while maintaining my career. Stepping into this new role, I found my passion and an experience that I will always treasure, the ability to lean in and encourage our child to lean into his God given gifts and also learn new things alongside him. One thing we have discovered, is our joy of cooking and baking together.
Growing up, both of my parents worked and I was a “latch-key kid”. My brother and I were both responsible for getting dinner ready for when our parents got home. We learned at a young age, how to prepare meals. As we got older, we learned during family gatherings like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas about preparing meals for a large crowd and working as a family to break bread together. These traditions I have wanted to pass along to my own children and with homeschooling, it has given me the ability to share these experiences with our co-op families and homeschool communities as well. I now have been teaching these skills for the past 3 years! I love to see the students blossom, feel a sense of pride in the meals they create and the joy they feel in being able to serve others.
I was born and raised in Roseville, CA. I moved to Portland, OR at 18, married the of my life in my late 20s and had 2 amazing sons Mason who is 23 and Colin who is 13. We moved to Boise in 2020 and moved to Kuna in 2023. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and care for my Uncle, who lives with us. We attend Redeemer Church in Eagle, ID and serve regularly in the kid's ministry as well as on the cares ministry and a part of the greeting team. We also immerse ourselves in homeschool groups and co-ops to build community and come alongside others to create as many opportunities as possible to allow kiddos to flourish.
In my free time, I love to read, cook/bake and spend time with family. We love to travel, to hike or visiting local and national parks.
I am looking forward to meeting and encouraging your children through cooking and baking.
